Terms of Use

1. General Provisions

These terms govern your use of the Thorius Academy platform ("Platform"). By accessing the Platform or using our services, you are deemed to have accepted these terms.

2. Service Description

Thorius Academy is a platform providing online training and certification in retail, human resources, artificial intelligence, leadership, and other professional development areas. Our services include course content, video lessons, assignments, certificates, and instructor support.

3. Membership and Account Security

• You must be 18 years or older to use the Platform.
• You are responsible for keeping your membership information accurate and up to date.
• You are solely responsible for account security and password confidentiality.
• You must contact us immediately if you notice unauthorized access to your account.

4. Payment and Billing

• Payment for paid courses is collected at enrollment.
• All prices are in Turkish Lira (TRY) and include VAT.
• Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.
• Invoice information is retained as required by law.

5. Refunds and Withdrawal

For digital courses, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of purchase provided course access has not been granted. After access is granted (e.g. first lesson viewed), withdrawal cannot be used.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform (videos, text, images, slides, course materials, etc.) is the intellectual property of Thorius Education and Consulting Ltd. or the relevant instructors. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited.

7. Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is prohibited on the Platform:

• Sharing account credentials with others
• Recording and distributing course content
• Any technical interference that harms the Platform
• Aggressive behavior toward other users, instructors, or staff
• Sharing content that violates the law

8. Termination of Service

Accounts of users who violate these terms may be suspended or closed without prior notice. No compensation may be claimed for loss of access in such cases.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is." Our liability for service interruptions, technical issues, or content errors is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Changes

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. You will be notified of material changes via your registered email address.

11. Dispute Resolution

Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes arising from this agreement. Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts have jurisdiction within monetary limits.
